Guess What I've Won.. ♥

I've only gone and won a a cupcake masterclass! :D

I found out that night that I won a competition ran by Graham and Green and the prize is a cupcake masterclass worth over £300. A whole day for me and my Mum with a cupcake expert! The class will be with Le Beau Cakes in Hertford (1 hour away from me). Take a look at their website.. it looks amazing!

I have decided to chose the 'Business of Cupcakes' class which will help with starting up my own cupcake business (which I hope to do in the near future). The class looks just perfect for me :) Half the day is business related and the other half is cake related! :D I will be taught the ropes on how to start my own business and then I will be shown how to make sugar paste flowers and decorations using cutters, learn how to pipe a 'rose' swirl with buttercream, and be shown how to use sprinkles and sparkles. And at the end of the day, I get to take home a box of 12 of my cupcakes :)

 

I was planning on paying £500 to go to college in September to do a cake decorating course, but may not need to bother once I have had this class and maybe I will go back for more. And this looks much better than a couple of hours at the local college once a week! It looks amazing and I cannot wait! Thank you Graham & Green and Le Beau Cakes! xx
