Each product or service must offer a unique selling proposition (USP simply refers) to potential customers. What is a USP?
USP is an acronym for "Unique Selling Proposition" or "unique selling proposition." Each, product and service business needs a USP.
The unique selling proposition is best described as the most important to distinguish you from everyone else who is doing what you do. It explains why a widget or service is a "must have". It 'very important for many marketers to keep it # 1 in detail in an advertisement for success.
Start thinking about the USP should imagine that they are responding (as in a clear, direct and simple as possible) a couple of questions a potential buyer. Write on paper and your USP is embedded in some content.
Why should I buy for you and only you?
What can you offer that competitors can not or will not offer me? (Can be a company or product warranty, specialization or service, number of years as an expert, better prices, etc.)
Tell me why I have to read your sales message - you say I can not find the messages from the sales of others?
As I personally profit (or benefit) of doing business for you (what is for me ... what should I earn, or what have you remove the pain)?
What is the benefit of your product or service?
Is there something unique or different about your product or service? Is there a unique combination of benefits, you can create to me that your customers? (If not, perhaps, how you might make it unique?)
Now ... identify the most important elements of its uniqueness (or want to position themselves as unique). List these in a clear and simple language.
Okay. Always thinking cap? Good.
Try to summarize in one sentence. (And certainly no more than 2 sentences at most).
1) Make benefits-oriented (tell the client that he is).
2) Be specific (not general).
3) Use simple language.
4) Be direct and concise (be concise).
5) Make your unique selling proposition "unique" (why do you say you have to buy from you and anyone else ... if your USP can be adopted by another person, then you do not "USP has not done so).
"This robot is the best?" It is not a USP.
But ...
"This robot gets hard nuts and vegetables 16% faster than any other, and I promise I will not turn your engine or you can return it for a free replacement ."... is a USP.
"Car rental car choice." is an empty slogan.
But ...
"The only car rental company in Florida is open 24 / 7 with the luxury cars at discounted prices" ... is a unique selling proposition.
This is a unique selling proposition marketing expert John Carlton said it could be used for a hamburger company in the competition against McDonald ...
"Best-grade hamburger grilled by the owner-chef when you order, delivered hot and ready to eat in 2 minutes ... or you can eat free! "
You can see what he was doing here?
In this case, a business owner you must create your unique selling proposition and become what he is saying to its customers.
Known copywriter Bob Bly created useful fill-in-the-space formula that can help you develop your USP. But only use this when you answered the above questions.
"I (name of )_______, product or service (doing what ?)_______, (for which ?),_______, date (which method ?)_______."
After developing your USP to include in every sales letter. If you have a service in a motto for his signature on all emails and business correspondence.
This is the maximum leverage and make the most of it in their marketing.
a) include in every sales letter.
b) Put on your business card.
